A TDL add-on plus an Excel ribbon toolkit for chartered accountants — reads your books directly, flags what needs a second look, and exports everything in one pass. No re-typing figures into a spreadsheet.
Checks Sec 44AB tax audit applicability straight from your Tally books — bank and cash receipts/payments, the 5% cash ratio test, the ₹10 Cr turnover rule, and Net Profit %, in one report.
This isn't a marketing diagram — it's the real sub-menu structure. Four sub-menus hang off the main Tally Scrutiny screen; everything else sits at the top level.
The flagship report. Applies pattern rules across four ledger groups to surface loan routing and cash cycling that's easy to miss scrolling through vouchers by hand.
| Rules | Ledger group | Pattern flagged |
|---|---|---|
| HR-01–03 | Sundry Creditors | Payment-only, receipt-only, or payment+receipt with zero business activity |
| HR-04–06 | Sundry Debtors | Receipt-only, payment-only, or payment+receipt with zero business activity |
| HR-07–09 | Loans & Advances (Asset) | Disbursed or recovered without a matching journal entry |
| HR-10–12 | Unsecured / Secured Loans | Borrowed or repaid with no supporting documentation — Sec 269SS risk |
Auto-excluded: GST · TDS · TCS · VAT · Income Tax · Insurance · Salary · Wages · Round Off · Discount · Depreciation — so routine ledgers don't clutter the list. Filter by rule with F5.
Twenty-one report tools, grouped across one ribbon tab exactly as they appear in Excel. Clean a raw Tally export, tie your opening balances, reconcile 26AS, age MSME creditors — each report runs on its own, without leaving the spreadsheet.
Every button above matches what's in the add-in today — this is the actual ribbon, not a mock-up.
Three separate installs, none of which depend on each other. Load the file into Tally, add the ribbon to Excel, and set the export configuration once per machine. Every step below has a video alongside it.
Works the same for a .tdl or a compiled .tcp. Five minutes, and the menu appears at Gateway of Tally.
The add-in is a macro file, so Windows and Excel will both try to block it the first time. These two steps get past that for good.
Tally can't export several reports in one go on its own. Export All to Excel works around it — but only once three settings are right. This is a one-time setup per machine.
A click-by-click guide to setting up a Windows 11 PC for Android app development with Flutter and Firebase. It's one HTML file: download it, double-click it, and it opens in any browser, even without internet.

"The High Risk Ledger report alone saved me hours on a complex partnership audit — it surfaced loan routing I'd have missed reviewing vouchers manually."
"43B(h) compliance used to take half a day. Now it runs inside Tally in seconds, and the batch export is something I didn't know I needed."
"The demo convinced me. The Excel add-in's TDS checking catches misclassifications I'd otherwise only find during scrutiny."
